newbie help

i want to play on ladder but i dont have any experience with ladder yet, last night i join the ladder follow the instruction but my ping is 800, im in south east asia what can i do to reduce the ping, thanks.

In the server chatroom use the following command "/gs 7". This will set up Game Server 7 which is located in Singapore, as your default server. The ping should be a lot lower now.
