Hi, Bass here with another guide, this time for necromancer. Essentially this will be a very short and shallow guide, something I don't really like doing but I decided to write something quick for this build because it is quite fun to play. Our ShatterMancer will use the oSkill "Shatter the Flesh" along with corpses generated by "Sacrifices" to destroy our enemies into tiny ice shards. We also have our summons to support us with buffs and also serve as additional meatshields. Keep in mind that this build will not be able to do every encounter due to the fact that we are essentially relying on summons to stay alive, but despite this, it is still very enjoyable to play. So without further ado, here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
  • Very versatile in terms of element diversity. A lot of our spell damage% buffs all our elements so its quite easy to just pick up any o-skill you like of any element and use it. We don't even need to re-gear/re-MO for -enemy resists because our Jinn gives us -95 automatically.
  • Shatter the Flesh does tons of damage (even with hardly any focus on %spell damage items, listed damage was around 65k-200k).
  • Necromancer is one of the BEST caster classes we can use. We get free 400% spell damage from Demon Blood aura and Burning Veil + free -95 all enemy resists from Jinn Hell Fire aura. On top of this, we only need 95% FCR to reach 6 fpa breakpoint.
  • Most of our items are iLvl 1 shrine crafts so they are accessible to everyone.

Cons:
  • Not recommended for newbies. We need some gear and familiarity with the game and encounters to succeed with this build.
  • Not very untwink friendly due to the fact that Shatter the Flesh is obtained from mid/late game areas. However, you *can* still play untwinked, it just means you have to pick up some other oSkill like "Avalanche" or "Lightning Wall."
  • Large number of summons/reanimates can cause fps drops in some areas.
  • Unable to complete some encounters due to the fact that we are relying on summons to survive (hence why it isn't great to play this completely untwinked).

    Stats
  • Strength: Enough to wear equipment
  • Dexterity: None
  • Vitality: None
  • Energy: All

    Alternatively, you can decide to go half Vit/Energy for more survival.


    Skills
  • sMax: Embalming, Summon Shadows, Summon Void Archon, Summon Jinn
  • 1 Point: Sacrifices, Graveyard
  • The Rest: Summon Rampagor or Summon Veil King

    You may wish to place more points into Sacrifices to lower timer, but because of diminishing returns, don't bother placing any more points once you get it to around 6-7~ second timer.

Gear
Weapon: "Jailbreak" 6x Ice RW Tier 6 War Staff. Double MO Effect required.
* MO this with Life after each Kill (LAEK).
* This RW has a large fluctuation for the affixes it can spawn with so you may need to re-roll several times before you get something decent. I usually consider it decent enough to use if it spawns with around 80-90% of the max intensities.
Body Armour:"Sahuagin Skin" SSSU Scale Mail or iLvl 1 Quilted Armour with Magical Shrine Craft/Bless
*Same concept for crafted armour as below.
Helm: iLvl 1 Cap - Magical Shrine Craft/Bless
* Try to get around 60-80% Minion Life + any minion resistances% you can get from bonus/bless. This concept applies to ALL our crafts.
* Keep the required level below 63~. Anything below this number is fine since our jewelcrafts are going to raise the level anyway.
Gloves: iLvl 1 Leather Gloves - Magical Shrine Craft/Bless
Belt: iLvl 1 Sash - Magical Shrine Craft/Bless
Boots: iLvl 1 Boots - Magical Shrine Craft/Bless
Rings: Rare Rings
* Desirable Stats: +1 All Skills / Cold Spell Damage% / +life / LAEK / Energy Factor
Amulet: Decent "Lamen of the Archbishop" or Rare Amulet
* Desirable Stats: +3 All Skills / Cold Spell Damage% / +life / Energy Factor
* Optional: Devouring Cloud or Lighting Arena oSkill


On Switch:
  • "Shamanka" SU Long Staff or "Qarak's Will" SSU Giant Sword - our source of Bloodlust.
  • "Frantic" 2x Magic RW Wand + 6x Nih Rune T6 Bone Shield - The wand gives us Mythal o-skill to break immunities and take down heroic shield bosses faster.


Sockets/Mystic Orbs:
  • Jewelcrafts - use Zod Jewelcrafts and aim for minion life / Energy Factor / Cold Spell Damage% / +life / %energy.
    Alternatively, you can use a few Ist jewelcrafts for more minion life, but Zod crafts are better overall.
  • Mystic Orbs - MO all crafts with 15x minion life and any remaining spaces into cold spell damage%. You can use a few spots for FHR too if you need it. We don't really need -enemy cold resist from gear because of Jinn + Weapon + SSSU Scale Mail.

Breakpoints:
  • 95% FCR: 6 fpa - we can reach this purely through charms and 1 or 2 FCR jewelcrafts.
  • 86 FHR: We have plenty of MO space/jewelcrafts so this value is easy to reach.


*Note* If you don't know how or why we are reducing our crafts to iLvl 1, I suggest you have a look at my FAQ & Mechanics Guide as it is explained there. Same with double MO effect on weapon.

Overall, the build has limitations on where it can farm. Of course, like all summoners, we do quite well in farming Toraja for Great Runes (simply re-spec to Rathma's Chosen) but some of the "usual" farming spots like Fauztinville and Duncraig can give us a lot of trouble. However, I don't really see much point in having different characters/builds all just farming the same area so I think the ShatterMancer is still viable. It's also great fun to see tons of minions swarming our enemies and also the ridiculous damage output of Shatter the Flesh (just watch those cows melt!)

You might be wondering, how do we deal with cold immunes? Well, I purposely left the build open-ended so you can decide what skill you want to use. Since we already have so much %Spell Damage and -115 all enemy resists anyway, you can essentially pick any elemental o-skill of your choice and use that. The other option is to stick a single element and use Mythal (from "Frantic" RW) although it can be kind of tricky to juggle between Sacrifices and Mythal as they both share timers.

I hope this guide opened your eyes and perhaps inspired you to try your own version of a necromancer caster, as this class is definitely one of the best caster classes. As you can see by the ridiculous spell damage% and -enemy resists in the pictures above coming just from our minions/buffs/jewels, necromancers may have no innate elemental spells, but with the great number of o-Skills available to us, we can simply pick up any skill and start destroying with it!

This ones really easy to make if you have the cold runes already Greg Razz The crafts took about 8-10 Magical Shrines to make all 4.

Youtube and copyright infringements is what's wrong with it Sad Apparently video won't be able to be viewed in some countries because of it. Anyway, re-uploading with some other good musicas so no worries!

Thanks for the cookie nom nom! I hope people can try this build and see how awesome it is to use as a caster base (tried to emphasize this). It's also very open-ended on how you want to customize the build, so you don't actually need to follow the guide word for word. Hope we can see some other regular guide writers put some stuff up soon.

Magic weapon/armor + magic amulet + magic ring -> reroll item as level 1 magic item

(then use this recipe: Magic item + Oil of Enhancement + rune -> reroll item as rare, and you can start crafting with it)

wow,the guide is already up.like always +1 from me
one little suggestion:maybe add a section about use what kind of build to get the elemental rune,so this guide will be a full guide,it's just a very small section,no need for a lot of explainations.

that picture u add in ur table is awesome,can we add whatever picture we want with that table code?
