Xbow Necro ...

i read a lot of guides here but i miss the good old xbow necro , then i found it in the archive , wrote by marconecrox.

My question is : "is this still viable?"

My thought was trying to start with the neutral build and then respec to the offensive one but dunno if v7 changed some of the skill he mentioned or something that's nerfed/deleted .

Yes, this char ofc is still viable, and besides is a killing machine. The only thing is that Bane curse has been a little bit nerfed but it makes no difference. Look at this link:

yea, people say it's one of the best characters for farming a3 sewers

I can attest to this, Voodoo shot hits all enemies on-screen and off simultaneously and multiple times, increasing the chances of procs, CB and DS. even at 30% crushing blow for me, i see it activate too many times to count after just one click. I actually used the guide made by Marco as well. I use the defensive option as this is one of my first characters and I don't have much gear for him, even so I slaughter pretty much anything that stands before me with a tier 6 Corpsefling xbow.

My only issue (and its a minor one thanks to major fcr) is keeping my shadows alive. Even with 4k life (and their blood aura) they go down fast on tougher opponents (by that i mean bosses), so I have to keep resummoning them or switch to frag shot. not a big issue at all.

Proc fest would be an understatement. Tranquilizer bolts have only 3% punisher proc and they proc like crazy with one click.

Because punisher proc have 3 missiles which can trigger on-death proc

i personally dig the %life bonus granted by shadows, i do about 8-11k dmg when buffed by burning veil, and that's each hit on voodoo shot, plus with plus allskill items i've got Bane up to about 20% physical res reduction with only 1 hardpoint invested. i have 13k life when affected by the blood aura on shadows, and that's with nothing invested in vita.

i love this build.
