Marco's HC Challenge

Nah I was cautious enough. I died at the entrance of TA on my second run because I was slammed with a wall of arrows as soon as I moved down. Tremor almost killed me a few times for sure. I did sewers and full TA (minus one upgrade) in approx 34 minutes. I love the utility for game time

Even if I get nothing more then a pat on the back, I want to thank you for giving me something to do. I had a blast and actually got that old adrenaline rush feeling I haven't had since I was a beginner at mxl. If I farmed gear and didn't try to handicap myself so much, I'm sure I could have finished her and did duncraig farming with tu's. You really have to plan out your gear and keep a very close eye on your health orb. I couldn't shift+hold click on my character and get sssu's while I watch cartoons (see: Pwnce). I had a really good time doing this and I may even casually play HC when I get bored of growing my shared stash. I'll definitely try and do a HC game on server one day but it would have to be between 11am - 3pm because I would have to do it with free wi-fi at the library

tl;dr I had fun now gib arrowsider since no one on single player has one. If not, at least give me a badge or something

Edit: Thanks wow! Yea Marco kept upping the stakes the more progress I made. If I wasn't being so challenged, I definitely wouldn't have done k3k and sunstones with random rares and empty sockets.

never played HC in SP but I guess if i did i would go straight with sin, as that's something i'm not able to do online

I prefer assassin's myself but I'm not sure if I could have done the same for sure. If I farmed gear on an assassin, I'm positive I could make it into destruction, but would most likely die trying some uber. TU Nagi and a good skill plan would get me into farming sets, but probably not complete BRC in the first terror run.

I tried to make this SP run as close to server play as I possibly could and I was still worried that people were going to say I was cheating (because of so many easy ways to do so). My cookie count has went up over 50% and I got a "free buzz" so it wasn't a total loss

I understand not making an item for me, all I could do was ask (beg) At least give me a badge of *cough* skill *cough*

you do it in tsw and the badge is yours^^

How much farming can I do? I will give it a go next week. Like I said limited play time.

My barb was builded in SP, but played like if he is in HC, and you know? He only gets his first die in in DEST act V... So I thin that I can do it...ofc, not a too fast journey, cause it's HC... However, IN conection is bad... For now you win... However, you don't answered the question in what if...scenary...
