Starting again

Just done a d2 install and after logging to bnet, I realize why I use to play median. Was never really good at it but was fun. Already confused with patches, and blah blah so if i could get some friendly help without being called noob etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and wow I'm glad to see median still in action.
