D2SE Modmanager

ok, i think i fucked up the glide setting and now my window can not go to window areo any more, keep giving me the message about something not competitable, what should i do?

i just uninstalled d2se,and reinstall it again,still the same thing? some of my d2 file been damaged? what should i do?re install my d2 from beginning?

And there was one user who said to You to do "this", and You should do it, but you didn't:

this - You run D2Test and choose Glide.

AND THAT IS IT

Search registry for Glide

And delete its keys to solve your error message.

now even i run under ddraw the message still come up

Open registry and search for Glide.

There Should be one key that contains all settings, especially for Glide.

Also, can you post screenshot of your error.

I think that your D2Test files is screwed up now, or something.

Clear video settings from registry and run it again.

i need d2se cause seems useful and i can do windowmode easy, i was just curious about glide

Well, I'm using version switcher, for me it is the same thing.

Glide is really nice, all UI colors are a lot better.

Then IT IS better not to touch anything.

Start - search - type regedit - run regedit.

Search a little e.g. Edit - Find next - enter blizzard/diablo - and start search....

Do the same for Glide.

NOTE

Since you are noob, as you said, if you accidentally click on wrong key (on the left side of registry) and delete it, then you could Screwed up something else.


Do this, save this as reg file (something.reg)

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II\VideoConfig]

And run it.

This will delete video settings from registry.

Don't have for Glide since my Diablo have Glide without glide files, weird thing......but you should be able to find it in registry.

I will check more about glide registry tomorrow......

He's making perfect sense, you just don't understand him. If you don't know how to edit your registry, don't or you could permanently brick your computer short of a complete windows reinstall; it's that simple. It looks like Rex is pointing you towards Current User, but you might also want to check Local Machine. And again, if you have no idea wtf I'm talking about, then I recommend you just don't even try it.

Just Save this and previous thing I said in .reg file format and run it. It will remove Video Settings from registry.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II\VideoConfig]

RUN D2Test and that should be that.

If the problem is there again let Us know.

well,seems pretty hard,the game still running good,and it only happen when i start the game,so i think id better not touching anything
