Thank you for providing those ideas, Quirinus. It's still not working unfortunately...
PlugY works when I change the Compatibility Mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 3) for D2SE and use D2SE to revert the Diablo II patch to pre 1.10.
Any newer patch results in the following error.

DLL error!
The selected Mod demands to use PlugY.dll but this does not exist or could not get loaded.
Please check the Mod/Language_XXX or Mod Folder or the D2/PlugY Folder for a proper installed PlugY.dll
Or correct the settings inside D2SE_SETUP.ini to not use PlugY!
No PlugY Support!

I do apologise for being persistent with looking for a resolution to this issue. Diablo II is the only game I currently play and I am looking to have a really rewarding single player offline experience which in my opinion requires what PlugY offers...
I hope the above information has provided an insight into what might be preventing PlugY from working for someone that is more Mod savvy than myself.
Any further help would be so hugely appreciated!

If you're using D2SE... it comes with PlugY by default...
But, if you're not, PlugY may not work with 1.13d so you may be forced to use 1.13c.
All in all, D2SE would be easier to use. Just use 1.13c with PlugY enabled in the Options.

Ok so I was able to get D2SE to correctly load D2 with PlugY 10.0 shortly after the last round of helpful comments so thank you very much to both Quirinus and Warren!
I did notice throughout my time playing that PlugY has a default setting not to regenerate maps in Single Player. I thought on this for a while, debating as to whether I would prefer to have regenerating maps for MF and Baal runs... I finally settled on at least giving regenerating maps a go. However, when I changed the AlwaysRegenMapInSP=1 and booted the game back up it did not appear to update this feature and my maps remained unchanged.
Has there been any talk on this topic? I am doing something wrong? Is there a work around available?

Are you editing the correct Plugy.ini file?

yea I think there's 2, one in the mxlu mods folder, and the other where you installed D2SE?

Thank you to both of you! I was able to find the correct PlugY.ini folder and my SP now regens each map.
I did want to know what your opinion was on this. Do you think SP should regenerate maps? I ask in specific relation to farming. Do you think seeing the map exploits the game to the point where it becomes trivial? Or do you think that if that is how the SP version of the game was developed, that it should remain that way?
I am still unsure as to what side of the line I am going to ultimately settle on and I would appreciate other people's opinion.

Guys, hello, how you all doing? so, im trying to play at work and the mod manager wont start without admin privileges aaaaand..... i dont have them. I can't use it without being the admin of the pc... any solution? please?
