Melee attacks using stamina would makes sense compared to real life. But then we need to ask, is there a goal of making it accurate to real life to any degree?

Very true, in no way it's "real life" but wouldn't it be nice if stamina actually had a purpose in endgame? As it is now it's just a bar that is completely useless beyond level 15 ish. I feel it could add some interesting and game changing character versatility and build types, perhaps even new class types based on stamina. Just throwing ideas out there.

Yeah, we can all agree that stamina is useless, and I would like to rework it into something more worthwhile, but so far we have no plans for stamina (unless Marco happens to have some ideas in mind and I don't know).

Remove the stamina...it'll be cool to see something like a special skill tree or a perk tree based on other then experience. Maybe the number of kills, maybe as a reward for beating some ubers...

Maybe instead of stamina, stamina could work like some other experience.

Experience you can only get in Uber areas and of course, that experience will allow you to level up uber skills.

yeah, thats real nice. its kinda what i proposed a couple of pages ago, but hadnt thought of another expbar.

I feel like some of the "melee" attack spells should, in fact, use Stamina as a resource, instead of Mana. Like Necro's Massacre and stuff. Things that are clearly a melee WDM attacks.
Another thought: Instead of Run/Walk toggle, it could be instead toggle a stance or attack/defense mode or something like that, which would, in turn spend/save stamina in some way. FIrst thing that comes to mind would be "Power Attacks". Say, toggling them on would spend stamina to grant you increase in damage and stuff.

The only problem with all this stamina discussion is that you have to create new items/rolls with stamina leech/stamina on striking/stamina on melee striking/stamina after kill, all of that +life leech and mana leech...things are gonna get complicated Very Happy.

Everywhere there is +craft points on a roll it should be replaced with some kind of stamina leech.. problem solved  Thumbs Up

So,all of a sudden everyone agrees with my earlier idea about some skills should use stamina instead of mana,I gave that idea long ago,but seems it is pretty hard to do,so......  Sad
