Witches: Tips & Tricks

For someone who likes to play with fire, and has a habit of getting burned (killed instantly), I've learned a few "Did you know?" worthy notes that other people can use for newbies.
- Star-Spangled Bitch Slap - Paladins and Necromancers will find this to be the most useful if they're trying to play the minigames. Simply throw up your invulnerability shield and run close to a witch, it'll pounce you and you'll also hear if it gives the star effect.
- DODGE!!! - With enough speed, even if a witch pounces you, it's possible to simply outrun death. You have to be running directly AWAY from her though in order for this to work. If she telefrags you from up top and you're running to the left, for example, it'll kill you.
- OHSHIT button - Don't think jumping into a random hole will save you from a witch's pounce. They'll follow you in and the only real thing you can do, is just not piss her off.
- Karma's Back Hand - Now you might think it's funny to watch a witch wildly flail at you sometimes when it can't pounce because she's got dust in her eyes, or suffering too much of a break down in order properly pounce. Despite their... poor attack rating, their melee swipes when they come into contact can also instantly kill you.

Last I checked it was 75, as it appears to be working for me (Could be wrong). Still, it's possible to achieve more by adding flat reduction as well.

i tested with 100% mag res ( capped at 75%) + 50% dr + void archon aura + 25k life and died
why?: the pounce of the witch consists out of 64 missiles without ND

Well, you'd need 75% of both in order for it to be limited to 25k.
Means you would need above 37.5k health (which cannot be reached) in order to survive. Which isn't possible to achieve.

nah 50% dr + void archon aura is close to 75% DR , same for magic res but still it wont work

Fair enough, but when you say "close", I somehow don't believe might be close enough. Not that it matters, because of 64 missiles. Makes sense, I've removed it.

Yeah. For some stupid reason, Rathma's Chosen cannot block it.

did you know most of the 64 missiles don't hit you, because the nova is cast at her feet and not yours?
reminds me of people theorycrafting banshee
