I'm trying to do a custom combo for jewelcrafting, and i did it like so:
Closed D2MoveItem_0.74 and D2, edited in the ini and saved and closed.

Spoiler:

Run the Setup, opened D2 and did the steps, opened D2MoveItem_0.74 but "shift+click middle mouse"  does nothing, and "middle mouse button" still puts an Oil of Renewal in the cube.
I also tried just swapping your settings between them and still a simple "middle mouse click" adds an Oil of Renewal and transmutes, while this should be done by "shift+middle mouse click" as per the ini file text.

So i don't know why but editing the ini doesn't work for me, the text modifications are saved but they don't apply, and just the standard setting is remembered. Any ideas on what i could do to have combos edited by me saved and working?

yea I tested it and works weird, worked for a while then stopped

when I released this it was working for me :S

I'll test more and check the code later, this is kinda hard to fix because it relies on image recognition, and d2 changes colors depending on your settings and stuff

I don't think there is an image recognition problem, not in my case anyway, since the two (standard) recipes that you wrote in the ini work. Maybe the ini is not linked with the program or something, because i've also removed the ini from folder and the program still works like it was set.

I have tried with 1.12a Windowed/Windowed Fullscreen and even if the setup tell me that I can run the script and use it after completion, Shift-click does not work at all. I have to press "1" and "2" on the desktop and then bring back the diablo window so I can complete the setup. I am using Windows 8.1

that's because I put in default values inside the script, in case someone decides to remove the ini or writes something funny in it
I'll check the code for shift+click.

what is the name of the d2 window? if it's different than "Diablo II", change it in the ini:

I didn't test it in win 8, dunno if it works there.

No nothing works. As I said, I have to minimize Diablo II window while doing the setup so it can detect my keypress.

Otherwise, while being on the actual game, pressing "1" and "2" does nothing.

And, the name of the window is : Diablo II

Any idea? I would really like to use that feature "shift-click" and I think there's no otherway.

Drag'n'dropping gems and other items is not my thing..

yea, I'll check it, I've been busy but haven't forgotten.
another reason why it isn't done yet is because reviewing the code takes time since I've forgotten some of the things I've coded, so I have to review stuff first to fix it, if it's possible.
