Currently working on getting rid of the pesky filesize limit. It's progressing, and almost done. This barbarian you see on the pic had his inventory filled of 30 stats items, for a total file size of 10,636 bytes...!! And it's still quite far from reaching the new cap (16,384 bytes)

People were already managing to reach the size limit with MXL inventory space. I for sure wasn't going to increase the inventory space too much.

Well no, I wasn't talking about size. I mean, the inventory could be expanded as much as possible, but there wouldn't be space for the gear then .
But yes the file limit is a great addition, isn't it possible to increase it even more? Just to get rid of the limitation forever.

Yeah I could higher up the limit. But it's pretty much impossible to legitimately reach 16,384 bytes. I had to buff my barb with quite a lot of 30 stat items to even reach the limit.

@whist: increasing filesize limit sounds great, but I think this limit mostly affects realm games (plugy in SP) and there can be other problems with 8kb limit on server side (pvpgn and/or d2gs) - I'll send you PM with some info I found
also I'm not sure about other code edits (and their impact on server side) - do you count with MP or will sigma be SP only?

Can you only double the limit (16KB) or set it to whatever you want?

Once Sigma is finished, you should fully load a character, and see what they reach, then set the limit to that.

That way hackers just get their character corrupted going over the limit
