UBERQUESTS - Newbie Guide
by MarcoNecroX

Hey all.. bunch of people are requesting this, so yeah, I guess I could
write some details on how to do ubers. You will find a bunch of useful
tips & tricks for each one of them here.

BASIC NOTE! its recommended to have at least one source of elemental damage, and as much '-enemy resistances' of that element as possible. Many bosses in ultimative have resistances, so if you use elemental damage and have 0 of this, your damage will be considerably low.

Classic Median XL

    DUNGEON UBERQUESTS

  • Creature of Flame: Doable with any character. Now, it will instantly kill you, so you need a shield granted by their minions (when attacked). If you're melee, you're going to need this shield. Its basic, once you get the aura, go and fight it, and repeat. If you run out of minions, use dark summoning. If you're ranged, don't bother with this. Simply snipe it while dodging those beams.

  • Infernal Machine: the boss itself is rather easy so the core of this uber probably is to run against it as fast as possible and kill it. Beware! it will cast deathstrike, and way until it is pretty long if you didn't make a TP. Regarding monsters there, just ignore them. Maxed resistances will probably be helpful too. If you have problems here simply go on with the game, and try again later. The charm in Ultimative is buffed, so you want to get it eventually. If you want to roll a perfect charm endgame, edyrems can tank the instakill beam, so its way faster.

  • Death Projector: another easy one, probably easiest uber currently. On ultimative, death projector can use a clock-wise death spiral proc when struck. So its suggested to avoid multihitting skills. Again, nothing hard, mechanics dont hurt more than any regular elite.

  • Azmodan: Looks hard, but its terribly easy. First of all, teleport source is recommended. The basic trick here is to enter, and run as fast as you can to any corner. If monsters are still gold, run to another corner. Repeat, and eventually you will find a corner where monsters are not immune. So, slowly move on until you get to azmodan, who has really low health and is killable very fast. This is a basic asn-zon strategy. For more tanky builds, you can simply enter, tank stuff and 1hko Azmodan, since as I mentioned, he will die really fast. If you get easily killed upon entering, try having 2-3 summons before you enter, so you get time to run to a corner. Note: beware with Unseelie ladies. As soon as you get unseelie curse on you, you are highly vulnerable to any of the elites there.

  • Rathma Square: Another overrated but terribly easy uber. The boss itself isn't harmful, only at melee range. If you're ranged, simply snipe him and avoid getting into melee range. If you're melee, simply use hit&run strategy. If you dont see him anymore, it means he has low HP - his AI behaves like that. This can be somehow annoying so try not leaving him with low health. Gore crawrers can do some damage but its not a problem for any naked char - get any summon while entering, and try to kill primus before all your summons die.

  • Cathedral of Vanity: Another overrated uber, this one is a cakewalk too. Depending on character, there are different ways to easily kill crystal ball. Assasin requires some dodging and a lucky beacon hit (it will kill the ball). Amazon has curare. The other characters should be able to get enough defense to tank them. An old strategy here is to lure celebrants to the small room (and preferably inarius) and blink afterwards into the big room. As soon as you do this, make a TP! Now, the clerics use lightning/magic attacks but they are truly harmless. Just avoid the lazor. If you see small red swirlies on you don't get scared, its just that a celebrant hit you with burn damage. Usually this makes you think you will die but its no problems - health pots in this uber also do the trick.

  • Toraja: Another overrated uber. Ok, its not extremely easy, still, its not hard, it just requires luck. As soon as you enter the density is rather low. Nothing edyrems themselves can tank. Teleport north, and at the very top of the map there is lilith. Here is where luck-factor kicks in. If lilith stays behind all their summons in the top room, you might want to reroll map unless your char is good at toraja (aka summoner). If you're a regular character, you need lilith to come alone, which luckily happens rather often. Of course sometimes it doesnt happen so you get discouraged and think the uber is impossible. Again, you only need to get lucky and lilith to come alone to the not-so-top room. Her attacks are rather strong too, but as soon as her resis drops, considering you're in act 5, you should be able to kill her with only 1 immunity drop.

  • Vizjun: again this uber isnt as complex as it looks. First of all, there are invisible monsters everywhere which summon mines - those floating rocks, which explode dealing pure fire damage. This means, you can get fire res and dont get too much damage from them - which is the usual cause why many people are dying there. Since these mines are summoned by monsters, if you move forward fast enough, you will never encounter these mines. Again, if using untwinked glass cannon character, this might requrie some luck - aka low density map. In these cases you might want to rush to MCS, use purify and grab charm. This only requires aiming, and can be done with almost naked character. All missiles used by monsters are easily avoidable here. Doing clears of this uber requires decent killspeed, which is not common before having this charm. So, for the first time you might want to consider this strategy.

    SUMMONING UBERQUESTS

  • Butcher: okay, this uber was buffed since MXL 2012 was supposed to be a really hard update. Its amusing to see many people can't find out how to do this, considering hacked chars probably can't, since you need to get HIT to do it. This said, the butcher has 20% chances to summon a binding circle on hit, which means, you need to get hit. Okay, the best thing here isn't getting you the one to be hit, but a summon. It can take some time though, and if you play on multiplayer and have huge ping like me, this uber is impossible. But it doesnt matter, there are always more strategies for this. Summon MORE butchers. This means, more circles, and you can be lucky and get a circle spawned on a butcher. This is probably best way for it, and less time consuming. Regular way is to use teleport to get him walking upon his own circle, but summoning more butchers is a better strategy here.

  • Tal Rasha: this uber is really easy too. Their AI's are rather stupid, and not very aggressive. This said, they cast spells, but they are pretty easy to avoid. If you're a ranged char simply dodge and kill them, while being a melee untwinked char like nagisin, its best to run away, lure them one by one, and also get rid of the baal morph which is hella annoying for some chars since it can slow you down. Note! this morph can make your attacks invisible (like Enfilade) this doesn't mean you're not using them. You are, so don't worry about this. If you still fail here, they pierce 250% resistances. So if you get total 325% resistances, you will reach the 75% resis, and if you have +%max res, you can get even more.

  • Assault on Mount Arreat: ok, this uber is easy, but can be annoying, for the simple fact that your hit recovery speed while morphed into diablo is terribly slow, so you can get hitlocked until death. This uber again can be done by luring monsters one by one, or by prebuffing field with skills like wychwind or broadside before summoning. 1 vs 1 fight against King Koth can be tricky for untwinked glass cannon builds. So you might want to get 1 summon to tank him, in order to prevent him from using skills such as Fortress.

  • Akarat: There are many ways to do this uber. If you're playing an assassin is not harder than spamming wychwind on a column and using dark summoning afterwards. For other characaters it can get more complex. Its also somehow based on luck, aka getting akarat hit. He dies really fast. The best non-cheesing strategy here is probably have 1 reanimate which you can get from any of the top/bottom areas, and have it tank monsters for a while, this will make it a lot easier.

  • Lord Aldric Jitan: this uber is once again very easy if you know what you're doing. Ok, since you're in act 5, the guards are probably not harder than regular elite monsters. The problem here is the boss, since he spams fortress like crazy and also heals. The basic here is ultra simple, it just requires some game knowledge: the boss has Vampire AI, just like King Koth, Tal Rasha, Diablo, Andariel, and several other bosses in the game. Once you know how this AI works the game is very simple.

Ok, this is how it works. This AI will use skills (which are usually ranged), and the boss will eventually roll a chance to walk into melee range to you. Once this chance is rolled, he will walk to you without attacking! getting this chance rolled is the core of these bosses, like Diablo. But here is what you need to know, once they are in melee range they will start melee fights, which means their chance to use skills is heavily decreased. This means you need to have either a summon or something tanking it, and that will prevent him from using his deadly attacks like Fortress, in case of Jitan, flamestrike in case of diablo, etc. So yes, this is it. Have 1 monster tanking it so the boss is busy fightning in melee, while you kill it.

  • Legacy of Blood: this uber is considerably harder in Ultimative. Why? since bartuc no longer dies from one hit, he will have more time to summon blood golems which are the problem here. So once again, cheesing here beats it all. Or, having summons. Summons will usually tank immolation bomb taking the 32 hits, hence while its heavily suggested to have summons. There is really no 'strategy' here, try to have summons, and if bartuc will drop resistances or not, is pure luck.

  • Judgement Day: this uber is considerably harder in Ultimative too, thanks to the buffs granted to Imperius and Malthael. The buffs are only defensive buffs, but why does this make the uber harder? One of their main attacks is to summon more nephalems. Which means, each boss needs to be killed as soon as possible. If you're a character with no summons and need edyrems for this very uber, I have good news, there is a strategy for this too. Basically, use dark summon on inner cloister. Drink health pots as you take damage. Eventually, an avatar will show up. The chances for them to spawn is again random, so you can reroll game and get them on first hit. After boss is spawned, you will probably die if using for example an assassin without summons. What you have to do (beforehand) is a TP on catacombs 1, next to entrance to Cathedral (and cleared cathedral). Once you died, simply go from TP, slowly. Edyrems are usually together so they will telport to you. Repeat until they are at your TP. Once you got this (TP should be at cata 1 entrance), go from Inner WP, and boss will be solo (since he doesnt teleport). Kill him and get charm. Now you got edyrems, which are all you need to get to succeed for the second part of this uber.

If you can't do the second part of the uber, which is fairly common, remake games, until both avatars spawn at the same time. Why? because if this doesnt happen, aka, imperius spawns 3 times for example, you will end up with a lot of nephalems more, so whenever both spawn, the fight will be alot more complex due to the amount of nephaelms attacking you. So, reroll a game until both spawn simultanely (which happens about 1 every 20 games) kill those, go to town and do upgrade.

  • Brother Laz (Secret Boss): this one required a dedicated char aka no untwinked crap you are able to use for any of the previous mentionated ubers. The strategy here is; purify, and apply open wounds as much as you can, after a few seconds without re-applying open wounds, you will need to re-cast purify. Techincally, you can do the uber with only 1 purify, but keeping open wounds non-stop after this, can be really tricky. This is why more than one purify is required. There are many tricks for this uber, and depending how good or bad player you are, they can be useful or not.

#1: most advanced strategy: take his HP down as much as you can, until grounds are full of groupies. Clear level & repeat.
#2 newbie strategy: this is really dedicated but will allow you to do laz no matter your skills. This is, lure him to Jungle, this means you will not need to re-run any area, which , once again, means you don't have to deal with groupies or Totems.

An useful trick here is to reroll map with a fire shrine. It will lower his health to 50%. Two shrines will lower it to 25%. But that takes a lot of time. How to kill the boss: ok, the time to purify, is as soon as he blinks to you. But beware, his blinks summon groupies. So basically, he teleports to you, you purify, hit in melee, run, and pray for him to follow you, re-applying OW as much as you can. If he doesn't follow you don't go for him, because you could get killed. The easiest strategy is to keep running, and reapplying purify+OW without getting even harmed.

If you can get multiplayer access, its handy to have a player with good killspeed to do the strategy #1, basically, one kills Laz while the other one clears room, and repeat. This is the fastest way.

  • Inarius (Secret): if you done CoV, you can do this. But beware, since in ultimative minions will use deathstrike upon death. The monsters are really simple since they only go into melee range like retards over and over again.

    UBERLEVELS

  • Kurast 3000 Before Akarat: Ok, this uber is a cake too... First of all having at least 75% all res is a good way to start. Secondly, exemplar merc will do really good here. He can solo the uber with no efforts: supposing a naked char (with 75% all res as suggested above) the strategy is simple, teleport to totem, and let exemplar kill (if you add, thats cool too) retaliate will knock monsters back while you will only receive elemental missiles which can be tanked with some decent resistances. This is the most basic strategy you can do here. After you get some more decent gear and stuff, stuff will get exponentially easier from run to run.

  • Island of the Sunless Sea: this one is easy too. If you have low killspeed which can be understandable if you're reading this, first thing you want to know, is that you have to kill Feyrs, aka those brown-red fat ugly thingies. Why? they summon a bunch of Nightmares, which aren't so harmful but can be tough if they are many. After this, regular level is no harder than any regular part of act 5, so lets move to the bosses. Malic uses an instant killing floating axe - which moves rather slow. So, nothing to add here other than tell you to avoid it. Usually you can summon 1 monster to tank all the simultanely 20 axes in the air. The strategy here is simple, hit & run once again. Time it will take you to kill malic depends only on your killspeed. Lucion is rather easy too. Just don't go into melee range or you will regret it - he has strong poison attack. First thing you might want to do before fighting him, is to clear most monsters next to him, by luring them away from his golden invulnerability shield. He alone is no threat, but if you ignore this last trick, the regular monsters will be the ones making this hard.

  • Khalimgrad: its sad but this uber has no purpose other than the charm, despite being an uberlevel. Sad . The only reason for this is that its located at act 5, at the point where farming this uber will bring no reward. Just rares, and after addition of unique/set drops to all regular stages in destruction, all you need here is to enter, go to first boss, located up, almost next to entrance. This is simple, enter the red TP; dont do anything other than blink to boss, throw as much attacks as possible, dont focus on zakarums just focus on the Avatar. If you focus on zakarums first, then they will all die, and the avatar might recover his resistances. Its not hard to lure one more zakarum at a time aftewards, but those lanterns which are untargetable can be very harmful. So, the core strategy in this uber is to see the least amount of monsters you can see, in order to avoid having to come into a fight with the lanterns, and guess what, they are unkillable. So, enter, teleport in upper direction, kill avatar without making much noise and waking zakarums up.

  • Tran Athulua: oww, so many people hate me for this. Ok, this uber is almost unchanged from MXL, except that amazons have a 5% chance to cast arrowside (trap that sends bunch of arrows) upon death. There is a very basic point in the addition of the trap, which over 90% people can't understand. The point of the trap is to AVOID it, not to TANK it. Its to promote a bit less mindless farming, like duncraig does. You need to be simply a bit awake and dodge the arrowsides if they spawn, if you dont dodge them, its simple, you will have big chances to DIE. So don't get surprised if you die really fast because your sucky skills to avoid a few arrows coming at you. Other than this, no resis needed here, only def, avoid, block and/or %DR. Priestess bosses were buffed but only defensively and they are still harmless. This uber can be easily done slowly if you want to get the charm for a start, no monsters resummon here so you just need patience.

  • Fauztinville: Good and bad news here. If you succeeded to do Black Road Challenge (terror fauzt), you will see that dest fauzt is almost equal to terror one. Bad news are, that this is still not too simple, as density here is really high. There is (so far) no charm reward here, even though there will in Ultimative Σ. This is probably one of the last ubers you want to start farming - once you want to collect cotws or whatever becuase your character is finished. Only thing you need here is two different types of damage, which can't be only ltng/fire/cold. You need to have any combination that isnt only two of those three, because you will have no way to kill those 3-elemental immunes I forgot names. This said, you need any damage combination such as, physical+magic, poison+fire, etc. Conversion skills are what you need the most here. Or, procs.

  • Ghosts of Old Bremmtown: this uber is terribly hard at first time, if playing untwinked glass cannon. If you are, for example an assassin, this is one of the last charm upgrades you will get. Why? because the go slowly killing stuff won't work here as you have 3 minutes to complete this uber. This means, you need either GOOD damage, or AVERAGE damage and decent defense. Entrance can be really painful, but the rest can be easily done if you abuse from reanimates. For the entrance what you probably want to do is to summon an edyrem to uncover the first howling spirits, then once you are able to move to the big left room, there will be no more walls, so you simply need to get some reanimates going. After that you can either rush to gain time, or kill monsters slowly if you think you can do it in 3 minutes.

  • Kingdom of Shadow: this uber isn't too hard. There are billions of way to do this. The basic thing to get to the bottom part is to run. So the difficulty only comes when walking through the narrow passage once you hit the bottom of the map (or not, if you decide to take a shortcut with teleport). I've managed to do this uber with bowzon with ecstatic frenzy, so everything is possible. So, for the narrow passage these are the different strategies you can use:

#1: Tank (usually for barbs), simply get 95% poison res, cool def and citizens are harmless. So only wait and teleport and move on that way, if you manage to dodge citizens instead of getting swarmed you gain a lot of time.
#2: Special Skills: there are different skills that will make this part easily. First one is Spin to Win, aka Whirlwind, which allows you to go thru citizens at enough speed not to get attacked. Other one is angel of death in case of necromancer which allows you to jump over citizens.
#3: TP abuse. Simply walk in the narrow passage, teleport, once you get swarmed and have no teleport, make a TP; go town, summon edyrems, repeat. Its a very slow method. Assassin can do this method without TP thnanks to 3-second timer blink.

  • Duncraig: after many other uber buffs, this uberquest now remains rather easy. The strategy here is to simply avoid the 1hko barrels. You can do this with closed eyes, this means, if you go into a straight path without going back, its almost impossible to get killed by a barrel. Assassin has great advantage here thanks to over 50% avoid which means you will dodge most of the barrels. Nothing more to add here for sigil parts, reanimates are really helpful here too, so if you can get some, better. Sigil bosses are nothing other than regular slain souls with higher health. Assur isn't really hard either considering he dies from 1 purify with an open wounds hit. Otherwise, two. He uses flamestrike, cataclysm and pounce. Pounce is probably the most annoying one. All you need here is to have him alone, summon a few monsters, use purify, and do it that fast you will not to worry about anything. If your purify aiming sucks, aka you cant kill him without having him still for an hour, fire immunes are helpful (i.e. Daystars). However he will randomly pounce killing them all. So this is where you might consider getting some fire resistances. Other than that you can use same strategy as suggested with laz, run and let him follow you, and use purify. If you run, flamestrike wont kill you and cataclysm wont deal much damage. Its not really easy since as mentioned above it only takes 1 purify and 1 weapon damage hit to kill him.

    HEROIC BOSSES

  • Belial: belial as suggested in official documentation is a 'Tricky' boss, but it can be rather easy. First thing you need to know is that he spawns with Ratfinks - untargetable small rats. For this reason, first thing you would need to do is lure him to ancient's way, if you want it to be very, very easy. In ancients way its simply, hit&run strategy all the way. He will spawn henchman but that's no problem. All suggestions to get maxed poison resistances are mostly bullsh*t. Why? that won't help you. He uses a nova that sets your damge to 1 thanks to burn. So again, if you lure him to ancients way, avoiding this nova is extremely easy due to the form of the ancients way. He drops resistances rather often, so once again its hit& run strategy until you kill him. In case of getting the burn nova, simply run away, wait until small orange swirlies disappear, drink a potion and go back. If you can get some reanimates there (thanks to useless Henchman) they will keep belial busy for some time in the place and you can use spells such as wychwind which will make the run a lot faster.

  • Bull Prince Rodeo: this one is easy too. Its more than known you need a wall to avoid those cows. However, if you're even smarter, you can go to some spots with dual-walls, in 90 degree form. Why is this so useful, well, it will not only prevent cows from hitting you, but it will also prevent the Stampede Nova to lure you to the side cows, in case you're a character that isn't an assassin, which in most cases can ignore this nova thanks to avoid. So, basically, you need a 90 degree wall, that will prevent any potential damage - only Fowl fight (those chickens) will damage you , but at any point, health potions will regen your HP fast enough. This boss even drops poison resistance, making it easy for any character.

  • Quov Tsin: this one is a gear check: he pierces 250% resistances. So you need 250% + 100% (from penalty) + 95% resistances, and to get 95% res you also need 20% resistances. At this point, tanking him should be fairly easy. However, this can sometimes not be enough, if you devote all your gear offensively to kill him as fast as possible. Here you can make use of absorb, which in old MXL was only obteinable from Event Horizont SU buckler, but in ultimative can be obtained many different ways - new runewords, SSU boots, SSSU Splint Mail, etc. Once you can tank him , there is nothing left other than killing him. Beware; he doesn't loose poison immunity.

  • Astrogha: I usually dont tend to do this uber the strategical way. I rather try to get a character with enough damage output to instakill him on first situation, making this uber really easy in my opinion. However, it seems some people can't craft and thus can't reach this. So, here is what you need to know: Astrogha summons Traps, which upon death willl heal all nearby monsters. Don't kill these traps. I personally kill them anyways, because I like I said I try to kill astrogha on the first and only hit. However these traps also make you vulnerable to first hit, but in case of assassins, which at this point can have maxblock and huge avoid, as well as stun from blink, this isn't a problem either.

Astrogha will also use frozen orb on close range, which will rape you. So try to avoid this too. What else? it will keep spawning darklings which are not really harmful, but might kill you if you're under coth curse. Again, the best strategy and the one I suggest is to get enough damage to kill her in one hit: this means, -199% resistances of your element, and the rest, as much % spell damage as you can get. This can be obtained from crafts as the cheapest option, but uniques are viable too. Usually I get enough damage to instant kill her that I can even focus on putting my 1100 stat points on vitality (for more health) or dexterity (for block).

Median XL: Ultimative Uberquests

  • Kabraxis: Lets not deny whats obvious, this uber is biased on rainbow characters, aka waysins, bowzons and kraken barbs, for the most part. So, the first suggestion would be to attemp it with one of these chars. If you don't, the uber is possible, but it gets considerably harder because the slower you kill, more monsters will there be. Let's start with the basics, both minions and elemental bosses pierce 200% resistances. However they work differently: minion AI makes them case one spell and go into melee range, while bosses will only cast skills every a certain delay. This means, stacked resistances are not even that important, as long as you dodge the spells used by the bosses. The best way to do this is to take each boss one by one, starting by the one you have the most damage type. I.e. if you're a fire sorc, you start with fire boss. This will considerably lower the density of monsters, since bosses will spawn new elementals as well. Try not to stay to close to many bosses, for this reason, more monsters get summoned. Hence why you have to take them one by one. If your need an elemental damage you don't have, you will need oskills or flat elemental damage. The main purpose of the newly introduced Cowboys from Hell set is that it will grant flat damage of all elements, making this uber viable for any WDM char. If you're not a WDM char you can benefit from oskills such as Hailstorm from amulets, or simply use different skills you have , since most caster classes in Median XL get access to different elements.

Once you're done with this stage, only Kabraxis is left, which to be honest is not really harmfull. He will only move really fast making static skills not the best option here. As any other heroic the strategy here is to lower is health as much as you can for faster run. He will not heal, so you can take your time to kill him.

  • Uldyssian: This is probably the hardest or one of the hardest ubers in Ultimative. The 30 bosses stages probably dont need any comment, since if you're trying this, your character should be strong enough to take them down. For more information about their attacks you can take a look at the guide of this uber. Most elemental bosses on these stages have 800 elemental pierce, this does NOT mean you need to stack resistances, exactly the OPPOSITE - Ignore getting resistances, and just do the uber that way.

Once you start fighting uldyssian, its same strategy as any purify boss, cast purify, and apply open wounds as much as you can. Uldyssian will use deathstrike when struck, and he will also cast a static trap which uses death spiral forever. What you have to do here is nothing else than changing your position, this way, the trap will vanish. You're not supposed to dodge it. Thats all the basic strategy you need, purify, some dodging, some skills too. Can take some time but its definetly doable.

  • Athulua: this boss is mostly focused on keeping you at low health and then using random spells to finish you. This uber is rather newbie friendly, and you should only focus on damage, otherwise you're doomed for a really long battle, at least in the current version of ultimative. Next version will bring a reduced fight lenght, making her drop resistances more often and making her also stronger to compensate.

  • Brachyceran: the core of this uber are both strong elemental attack to take the boss down like any other heroic uber, but in addition to this, heavy defense and poison resistances are recommended. If you lack these because you're a glassy character, once you're in level three its recommended to do a very fast full clear, leaving the less amount of ghost worms possible, then have them lured away from boss, making a decently big area to fight him, clear of ghost worms, since Brachyceran teleports. He pierces fire and poison damage, but if you are already at level 3 you probably know how to tank those. Biggest problem here are ghost worms, and as suggested above, you can try to get rid of those, or if you're a character like Barbarian, simply ignore them since your defense will cover their hits.

  • Chrysaor: both first uberlevel and second stage are very easy. First stage only requires enough killspeed + health recovery, unless you really want to drink potions every 5 seconds. Once you reach this, you can farm this for new runes. On second level, you will find Goliaths with are truly harmless, Ratfinks, which amount was greatly reduced in lastest version, and Chrysaor, in its common version. He isn't really strong, but he will give you a half useful reward, the un-upgraded Trader's Chest. If you feel skilled enough you can try to upgrade it by using dark summoning on second level to summon the second version of chrysaor. He will summon a trap every 10 seconds which needs to be taken down with purify, while chrysaor himself has a rather weak heroic shield covering him in these small leaps where no traps are alive (which make him invulnerable). Note that just like Brother Laz uberquest, having over 1 player here makes this a lot easier, since you have more access to purify, thus, statues become easier to kill.

  • Startled Witch: this is a purely skilled quest, and if you can't do Laz with confidence, you shouldn't try this one. Its practically the same, except the witch is not as deadly as laz, even though it uses skills such as Tremor to keep your health low all the time. Instead of summoning groupies, the witch will spawn nests that spawn zealots afterwards. Only thing you need here is fast killspeed to get rid of these nests, so you can get time to kill the boss. If you don't have enough killspeed you will eventually end up swarmed and loose. Note that there are also static witches over the map which use deathstrike and their purpose is to be avoided.

  • Diablo Clone (Multiplayer): The strategy here isn't to hard, he is both fire and poison immune if my memory doesnt fail. He has regen so high killspeed is required. Since he also teleports, its not a bad option to keep moving and let him teleport to you, that way you save yourself from dealing with the minions of terror. There is nothing too complex in this uberquest other than the basic hit and run strategies, as well as taking down an heroic boss.

  • The Yshari Sanctum This uberquest is rather intuitive since it becomes progressively harder. Thanks to this, its hard to get stuck since there are no huge difficulty leaps, it just gets a bit harder progressively. There is no description for the uberlevel itself, considering there are so many monsters, all having an unique purpose. The best for this is probably finding out which of these monsters to look after, because that will vary on build. Here you need to find the 5 prime evils, which have a high chance to drop a set piece, to get the Vizjerei Set. As you will probably notice, each boss is surrounded by 10 minions, which are usually the strongest monsters of the specific stage. These have a lower chance (but are higher in quantity) to drop pieces of another set, the Horadrim set. Once you get the both sets you need to find the Seal of the Gods, and equip both sets. Afterwards it gets rather obvious thanks to the skill descriptions on the new offered skills from the set. Its a purify fight where open wounds is not needed, its simply purify, and its an equal-for-all battle for the most part since all characters are granted max block, a boss killer spell, and a mob killer spell, all which have static damage.

Have fun playing.

Guide to all Uberquests Empty Re: Guide to all Uberquests

Do you think someone can list the Charms/Trophies that drop from the new Ubers? I know some of them like the diablo essence has a random skill so obviously you would just put the +Random Character Skill.

I've seen the ubers in the offline doc but no mention of the charm and or trophy bonus for them.

Thanks. Would go perfect into the Guide here right below the strategy.
